The Lodge Manufacturing Company
Sometime in the 1890’s, Joseph Lodge founded a company in South Pittsburg, Tennessee for the manufacture of cast iron hollowware named the Blacklock Foundry. In 1910, the foundry burned down and was rebuilt. The Blacklock Foundry was incorporated and named Lodge Manufacturing Company at that time.
The Lodge line included hollowware, kettles, pots, vents, sad irons, andirons and fireplace grates and fenders.
