    Re: Board topics

This is a list of PATENTS, both INVENTION and DESIGN (preceded by a "D") that I was able to find in my research over many years. I also posted this quite a few years back on the WAGS forum in a post or thread that I STARTED and I would periodically update the list. As with my Foundry List I am pleased to share this with all cast iron cookware enthusiasts and give G&CIA permission to use the list as they see fit with the understanding that this list will remain mine to use in any way in the future. I have occasionally updated the list in recent times but I think there may be some more patents to find. The list could stand to be cleaned up some; I have kept it in draft form.

    ************************************************** ************************************************** *************************************

Below is a list of patent numbers for cast iron cookware and related items. Click on the link at right to go directly to the patent page. By reading the patent much interesting information can be learned about the patent and/or patented piece including how an item was meant to be used. A "D" before the patent number denotes a Design Patent. "RE" denotes a reissue of a patent. Assignee, if any, is in parenthesis.
Anyone should be able to look them up and print out the information using any of the below links:

NEW: Google Patent Search http://www.google.com/patents (I find this to be the easiest and best for searching (I find this to be the easiest and best for searching but use this related link in my searches: http://www.google.com/advanced_patent_search )

    http://patft.uspto.gov/netahtml/PTO/srchnum.htm

You have to type in a D before any design patent number you are looking up.
Note: my iMac works fine accessing this site and seeing patent infomation but, if nothing comes up on your computer you may need to download a helper.

Here is another site to get patent info-

This list was compiled by me. I retain the right to use the list in any way I choose to. You may also use the list and only ask that credit be given to me.
