WEST COAST CHAPTER—September 9 & 10, 2011

Salmon is a small rural community of 3,300 residents nestled in the mountains of Central Idaho. Located along the Salmon River, "The River of No Return", the City of Salmon is proud of its rich history that includes strong traditions of mining, lumbering and family ranching. Lewis and Clark crossed the Continental Divide in 1805 into the Salmon Valley during their expedition to the Pacific Ocean and received essential supplies and information from Sacajawea's people.

On Friday evening, all who care to will gather for food and conversation at "The 28 Club" in Salmon. The club has excellent food & their menu consists of the following: Prime rib, prawns or chicken. All selections come with a choice of potato, salad bar, dessert & non-alcholic drink. The price is $25.00 per person. We will meet at the club between 6 & 6:30 P.M., Friday, September 9.

The G&CICA chapter meeting will be held at the Sacajawea Center, 60 Highway 28, Salmon, ID. 1-208-756-1188. Coffee, juice & donuts will start off the day at 8 A.M. At 9 A.M., we start with show & tell (bring anything of itnerest), business meeting and swap meet. We will discuss the upcoming convention in Renton in 2012, so you might give some thought to volunteering for a table topic or your favorite thing.
